The young Family moved into 45/1 Roundlea road 1958
A ground floor flat facing onto a green great for watching what the kids were up too Sally was also seen jumping out of the kitchen window even when pregnant to stop a fight between the kids out the front as the door to exit was around the side of the flats
The familly kept growing
Peter arrived 19th November 1958 .He was born at home and Jacqueline was not impressed with another boy.
Sally had Peter at home and he was named after Jacqueline’s dog that had been lost before he was born
While he was still quite young Peter would pack his bags and leave home quite often much to the neighbours delight. However as soon as dinner or tea were called he was back.
In 1960 Sally was again expecting everyone was hoping for a girl certain people had said if there was another boy it would have to go back. Fortunately the longed for girl arrived on October 5th We named her Judith.
However she was in too much of a rush to get into the world and decided not to wait for the midwife so Sally and Gordon had to manage on there own. Gordon did a good job and was the first person to see Judith followed very closely by Sally and the rest of the bunch.
So now we thought well 2 of each nice and balanced what more can you want.
Well surprise surprise 1964 and along came another one. Christopher James. (Sally Talked Jacqueline out of Christopher Robin) arrived on the 12th May.
He decided maybe he would stay inside in the comfort of moms Tum and tied himself in the cord to try and avoid being kicked out. Fortunately Sally won the day and out he came a little blue so needed a big slap to wake him up
Sally and Gordon made many good life time friends while living at the flats
